Every so often something happens upon which everyone can agree – be it tragic or seemingly miraculous.

9-11, gas prices, Michael Phelps

How wonderful that united feeling is.   And soon it fades.  How odd it is that we humans so often need something SO out of the ordinary to bring us together.

 I’m wondering what I can do to hold onto that feeling of unity.   Sure I’ll forget, but in the meantime, I’m going to milk that “How ’bout Michael Phelps?” uniter for all it’s worth.
