I love Paul Simon. There, I said it. Tonight I’ve been watching a replay of The Gershwin Award Show honoring him. What an amazing show. What an amazing artist. I’ve seen it before and since I recorded it this time, I get to see it as often as I want.
The show left me pondering how different artists are inspired. And then this blog post arrived. Andy Mathis is a fellow wholesalecrafts.com artist who is also a veterinarian and masterful communicator. I follow a lot of blogs regularly. I follow some fervently. Andy’s one of the latter. Many of his posts are about the animals he meets (and helps heal) in his vet practice. Gotta love that!
What left me stunned with his latest post is that it maps the creative process. So often, people ask me, “How did you come up with that?” My INFP (Meyers Briggs) self usually hems and haws – throwing in a few “aw shucks.”
wOw. And thanks Andy for providing a witness to The Process.
Awww, shucks, it’s nothing. . . .
