I’ll never be a size eight again. WHAT makes me wear things that make me look double that size, though?
Here I am with my dear pals Val and Linda at a recent reunion. We had a blast. It was beyond holy. We laughed. We cried. We reconnected.
And I hate how I look.
ugh.
Am I the only person who gets bugged by this kinda ‘shallow’ stuff? I know that it’s ‘what’s inside’. AND what was I thinking when I grabbed these block print overalls? Stacy and Clinton would be SO disappointed!
Aside from going to Curves today and setting those overalls in my EBay pile, I’m going to let it go. Not easy – needed. Sometimes we see things that tell us the truth we need to hear.
Have you ever had a “what was I thinking” moment?
Do tell – with pix if possible – ha!
(((((((((Lisa)))))))))
When I saw that picture of you and your gal pals it reflected for me the closeness, fun and LOVE that is your life!
The overalls you wore were just the icing on the cake because they are so comfortably YOU! And *yea you* for dancing, laughing and just being who you are – the Lisa so many know and love 🙂
Yep, we’ve all had those “what was I thinking” outfits … my sis was visiting this past weekend, and I needed to find dress for a friends wedding, I dragged Jen to go with me – I told her I didn’t want to look like I did in the dress I wore to the kids graduation from college a couple years ago – of course she said “you looked great in that dress” … I suppose what we wear can and does reflect who we are, but to those that matter it’s who’s inside that outfit that really shines through and makes all that we are just right!
I love the overalls – you enjoy the heck out of them!
xoxo
you are tooooooooooooo kind, Michelle. THANKS.
