A couple of years ago, I posted about my early joys in IPod-land. I still marvel at and celebrate my IPod. I use it often.
As of this weekend, I’ve stepped into Kindle-land. Some dear pals gifted me with one of the newest models – WiFi/3G. It’s amazing! I spent much of Saturday figuring her out and downloading free books.
Have to admit to some mixed feelings though. I’m a book lover. More specifically, I’m a library book lover. I’m also enjoying a new life of acquiring less (yes, even books). So I’m eager to see how how I’ll allow this new e.reader to impact my choices.
In the meantime, I’m also eager to hear how you like/use your e.readers and where ya’ll find free books! 🙂
Lucky you. I haven’t joined that club yet, not that I wouldn’t like too. Enjoy!
We all wish we had such generous friends as yours 🙂
Amazon releases a bunch of ebooks for free (for a limited time) each week. They’re pretty random, from different genres.
(I post all the freebies I find on my blog, so I know)
