My “word” for 2012 is wOw!
wOw! is one of those fabulous words that fits positive, negative and neutral situations. It’s a word we can use when no other will work. Over this next year of Sundays, I’m going to share some wOw!moments from the previous week. By December 31, 2012, I’ll have shared 2012wOw! moments.
I hope you’ll have spotted (and maybe even shared) close to that, too.
Here’s what made me say wOw! this week:
446. a simple Sunday service;
447. cruising with my sweetie in his streetrod;
448. spending five minutes watching a Chickadee perched on the heat pump;
449. this video I saw on my friend Harry’s FB page;
450. exploring dirt roads in the Green Swamp;
451. the fun of helping the younger of my two nephew and his family move into their dream house;
452. the southern universality of fried chicken;
453. the honor of witnessing someone choose to change her life for the better;
454. the comfort of sipping coffee in bed, listening to LKW and watching Blossom and her two cousins sleep;
456. concern and love for my friends Pickett, Lendon and their darlin’ Gilley;
457. the joy of preparing Easter messages for the kids in my family and my Godchildren;
458. how cool my teeth feel after they’ve been professionally cleaned;
459. Big Lots;
460. concern and love for my friend Brenda;
461. the humble honor of helping strip the church altar on Maundy Thursday;
462. helping a friend celebrate her 16th birthday;
463. eating cake and ice cream at 9pm;
464. extra exercises to offset that cake and ice cream :);
465. an internet-free Good Friday;
466. how walking a labyrinth feels new every.single.time;
467. enjoying having a fire in early April;
468. the full moon over LKW;
469. catching up with Jo after her Big-Turkish-Adventure;
470. learning the story of parchment;
471. the honor of creating handmade books for Cheap Therapy customers;
472. making sausage pinwheels and butterfly cupcakes for Easter Sunday at church;
As you know, Lisa, I LUV your wOw moments…and this week, I especially love #456. Thank you, darlin’ one. Gilley is — right now — really enjoying his warm rice and ground beef. And for this simple blessing, I say wOw. Love you so. xoxo
xoxo to you all, dear Pickett…
