My “word” for 2012 is wOw!
wOw! is one of those fabulous words that fits positive, negative and neutral situations. It’s a word we can use when no other will work. Over this next year of Sundays, I’m going to share some wOw!moments from the previous week. By December 31, 2012, I’ll have shared 2012 wOw! moments.

What made you say wOw! this week?
Pelican House has wifi now??
That’s just wrong.
What a full week it sounds like you had!
Big, scary wOw for Mark, me & our kids, driving 12 hours to see Mark’s 91 year old dad, and finding him waiting up for us, but literally in a state of shock. Called 911 just in time, according to the ER doctor. More wOws watching him recover in the ER, frail but sharp as a tack mentally, even making jokes about pretty blond nurses! Big, happy wOw watching our dog fall in love with Poppy when we finally got him home, and another happy, even tho’ exhausted, wOw, feeling good to be back to OUR home, confident that Poppy’s “Home Instead” ladies are giving him loving care.
A huge WOW for me today was
Discovering my ” Knockout Rose hanging basket” no longer had the flowers on the plant. The deer had enjoyed every last morsel of the roses, but were kind enough to not disturb the newly hatched baby birds that were nestled in the same plant. Thank goodness I saw these birds, as I was prepared to throw the plant away!
Amma, know what you mean, but i must admit it was handy 😉
Mary Louise, wOw! i’m exhausted just reading about your week. sending healing vibes for Poppy and love to all…
Robin, holy Holy HOLY! hope you’ll let us know how the baby birds do.
thanks for chiming in, ya’ll!
Best Part of this WoW…..WiFi at the silent retreat need I say more :-). ❤
