1055 – 1099 in a year of 1012 wOws!

My “word” for 2012 is wOw!           

wOw! is one of those fabulous words that fits positive, negative and neutral situations.  It’s a word we can use when no other will work.   Over this next year of Sundays, I’m going to share some wOw!moments from the previous week.  By December 31, 2012, I’ll have shared 2012 wOw! moments.   

I hope you’ll have spotted (and maybe even shared) close to that, too.

Here’s what made me say wOw! this week:

1055.  dropping two new plates and neither of them even chipping;

1056.  date day;

1057. Moonrise Kingdom;

1058.  seeing an owl swooooooop through my yard;

1059.  the surprises I found while cleaning out my ‘fridge;

1060. a steady all-night-long rain;

1061. finding Blossom sleeping in the tub in the middle of the night;

1062.  waking to temps below 80;

1063.  trying to support a dear friend BE a dear friend;

1064.  the arrival of Seth Maslin Enzor;

1065.  grilled catfish with creamed kale, fresh tomatoes and corn on the cob;

1066.  paying attention to my body BEFORE it shuts me down;

1067.  receiving an awesome prize from Amery Carriere;

1068.  how great I feel when Mom is happy;

1069.  an astoundingly perfect and enLIGHTening share it forward gift from Pickett;

1070.  gearing up for seven-year-old Jerrah’s three day visit;

1071. the cloud-shapes-game;

1072.  how Jerrah knows where all of her favorite things are in my home;

1073.  watching a little girl and a dog love each other;

1074.  falling for the old ‘but movies just aren’t the same without Movie Popcorn‘ gig – willingly;

1075.  the movie Brave;

1076.   “I had no idea The Old Days had so much cool stuff” after Jerrah went through my memory box;

1077.   hearing a seven-year-old read The Lorax;

1078.  how the spoon in the Trix box really does change colors;

1079.  Chronicles of Narnia paper dolls;

1080.  Little Man’s Zoo;

1081. Pizza Village;

1082.  the tenderness of a little girl’s spirit;

1083.  the power of a little girl’s spirit;

1084.  the let’s-walk-along-the-lake-and-fill-the-Radio-Flyer-Wagon-with-whatever game (who knew?);

1085.  mixing M&Ms with popcorn;

1086.  that ‘normally hot dogs don’t have buns and are cut up in five pieces‘;

1086.  sugar highs;

1087.  9pm crashes;

1089.  how much I look forward to sharing this holy one-on-one time with my other great-nieces/nephew;

1090.  being THRILLED that Blossom chose NOT to sleep with me;

1091.  Watermelon Day at the Farmers Market;

1092.  a great canoe ride;

1093.  a fab lunch of watermelon, blueberries, cucumber and tomatoes;

1094.  a powerful round of Doritos Go Fish (where one has to eat a Dorito each time one has to Go Fish, duh...);

1095.  an exhausted Blossom;

1096.  Tom winning Best Streetrod in his latest car show;

1097.  Tom meeting some BRILLIANT students from Havelock High School (my alma mater) at the car show, who’d built electric cars;

1098.  a full heart;

1099.  already looking forward to Mom’s arrival on Monday;
