1134 – 1176 in a year of 2012 wOws!

My “word” for 2012 is wOw!

wOw! is one of those fabulous words that fits positive, negative and neutral situations.  It’s a word we can use when no other will work.   Over this next year of Sundays, I’m going to share some wOw!moments from the previous week.  By December 31, 2012, I’ll have shared 2012 wOw! moments.

I hope you’ll have spotted (and maybe even shared) close to that, too.

  1. Thank you for your gifts and sharing! I haven’t open OUR STATE yet cause I want the time to read from cover to cover but now I will go directly to the Button lady cause I love her pics!

  2. I’m sooo happy for “our” Celia! I had the privilege of being her art teacher for many years, and learned as much (if not more) from her as she from me. What a persistently creative vision she has–and how wonderful that she ACTS on it! She always make me say “wOw!”.
Lisa, I agree with a friend’s prior comment regarding your meals…..they sound so exotically delicious. How about a Cheap Therapy restaurant? Find someone else to do the physical labor–you just plan the meals & decor (and the background music, of course!), write the descriptions in the menu, and pop in occasionally to shine your great smile on the diners! It would be a sure hit!

  3. A front yard full of about 2 dozen pink flamingos at Kure Beach–made me smile!

  4. Once in a blue moon you get to have a WHOLE DAY of wOws! Last Wednesday was one of those for me, starting with witnessing the sun rise over Lake Waccamaw, continuing with getting to spend half of the day with one of my very favorite people whom I love & learn so much from, to an incredibly powerful service of Holy Communion and finally being able to share the story and insights of “this most amazing day” with Darryl. It was God’s magnificent answer to many prayers from a spiritually dry season; I drank deeply of that Living Water, and I am profoundly grateful.

  5. being part of my children’s journey….they are both growing up at mega speed…. I thought they grew quickly when they babies….young adulthood seems to move even faster!

  6. Marina, hope you enjoyed Our State as much as i did!

Mary Louise, yep, isn’t it FUN to see these youngin’s living their lives with such purpose and passion. now about the restaurant thing… not so much for me 🙂

Penny, imagining those flamingos makes me GRIN!

Wanda, a holy holy day, indeed!

Judi, it must be amazing. and they have a great mom:)

    thanks for chiming in, ya’ll!
