My “word” for 2012 is wOw!
wOw! is one of those fabulous words that fits positive, negative and neutral situations. It’s a word we can use when no other will work. Over this next year of Sundays, I’m going to share some wOw!moments from the previous week. By December 31, 2012, I’ll have shared 2012 wOw! moments.

What made YOU say wOw! this week?
The resilience of babies (and their parents).
The incredible toll emotional stress takes on my body.
How much good sleep and rest can do.
The power and support we’ve felt from our circle of friends and family.
My friends are now my extended family (except for my delightful 91-year-old aunt).
I said wOw to the peace of driving to/from and just being at LKW; the gift of story; how a just OK story is better than no story at all; three little active boys trying to tell the same story, each with their own twists and flavor; the welcome creaminess of fresh avocado on my daily salad; the place writing has in my life; the kindness of my dear and patient husband . . .
The humbling and joyFULL privilege of helping our pastor celebrate a Baptismal Covenant Renewal service for the congregation of our church Sunday. I’m still in awe.
The joy of reading peoples’ WOWs, and realizing how many I experience each day and never take note of them. We take so much for granted.
amma/Robin, so grateFULL your wOws! carry so much joy;
Alicia, ::very good sigh:: ~ avacados are The Magic Fruit in my book ;);
