My word for 2018 is focus, which requires paying attention to the moment – the now. So, this year, I’ll be taking note of experiences I may have missed, without focus. Many may seem to be BGO’s (blinding glimpses of the obvious), but hey, I might have missed them.
Here’s this week of NOWS:
the overwhelming relief of a replaced A/C capacitor;
picking the perfect sticks with which to bind Cheap Therapy books with Jo;
a great fresh shrimp and corn on the cob feast with Tom;
witnessing someone BELIEVE;
how well this whole unpacking-one-box-of-Mom’s-things-when-I’m-up-for-it plan is going;
homemade cucumber and mint water;
an equisite hydrangea;
introducing new people to Pelican House; and
meeting people with whom I can skip right-to-the Real-Stuff-that-Matters.
