My word for 2018 is focus, which requires paying attention to the moment – the now. So, this year, I’ll be taking note of experiences I may have missed, without focus. Many may seem to be BGO’s (blinding glimpses of the obvious), but hey, I might have missed them.
Here’s this week of NOWS:
a hopeFULL message from The Gospel;
remembering the power of themultiple sclerosis in my body;
witnessing a heron meander through my yard;
finding the recipe for The Perfect ‘cheese biscuit’;
the powerFULL feeling of lightening and thunder;
being humbled by Mother Earth;
fixin’ catfish for Tom;
seeing the deer feasting in Tom’s yard;
sharing homemade lemon-aid with friends;
a friend finding a stone with HEAL hand painted on it, exactly when she needed it;
how we’re all doing the.best.we.can;
ice cream cones at 9:10pm;
THAT MOON;
how Bloss leans into my hand, when I stroke her, as she sleeps;
making blueberry jam for the first time; and
the overwhleming gratitude I feel for and to Tom.
What NOWS did you witness or experience this week?
