My word for 2018 is focus, which requires paying attention to the moment – the now. So, this year, I’ll be taking note of experiences I may have missed, without focus. Many may seem to be BGO’s (blinding glimpses of the obvious), but hey, I might have missed them.
Here’s this week of NOWS:
real, fresh corn on the cob;
finding that perfect road atlas;
spotting rainbows in the stream of water, as I spray my plants;
the pink blooms on my purple heart plants;
learning that one long-time friend met another long-time friend via AirBnB;
a sacred Cheap Therapy day;
a yummy bento box lunch at Six Happiness in Leland;
realizing/admitting to myself that while Shawshank Redemption IS my alltime favorite movie, Notting Hill is my go-to-fix-my-spirit movie;
seeing a squirrel walk slowly;
being gobsmacked by the program 10 Streets That Changed America;
15-year-old/ arthritis-ridden/ pain pill-free Bloss being able to move (and even run, a little bit), thanks to CBD oil; and
celebrating life with life-time gal pals.
What NOWS did you experience or witness this week?
