My word for 2018 is focus, which requires paying attention to the moment – the now. So, this year, I’ll be taking note of experiences I may have missed, without focus. Many may seem to be BGO’s (blinding glimpses of the obvious), but hey, I might have missed them.
Here’s this week of NOWS:
THAT MOON;
a mosquito with a one-inch wingspan;
how much healing can happen when shame is replaced with honesty;
the powerFULL company of women;
speaking of …FULL – how much FUN Cheap Therapy’s ‘Wear Your Gratitude’ campaign is! (You can still order your very own grateFULL t-shirt here until midnight EST, Friday , September 7.);
every.single.bite of the ‘beef bowl’ at Penn’s Grill;
getting popsicles, M&Ms, and signs ready for the tenth annual Take the Lake;
planning for the arrival of three teenage gals;
realizing I CAN’T plan for the arrival of three teenage gals; and
unplugging, in honor of the arrivl of three teenage gals, as not to miss a minute of my time with them.
What NOWS did you experience or witness this week?
