My word for 2018 is focus, which requires paying attention to the moment – the now. So, this year, I’ll be taking note of experiences I may have missed, without focus. Many may seem to be BGO’s (blinding glimpses of the obvious), but hey, I might have missed them.
Here’s this week of NOWS:
spotting two wildflowers;
that doe seeing me, as I saw her;
how much milk chocolate really does help;
that the generous gift from a friend bought me two groovy chairs from another friend,
how UNimportant pride is;
the joy of celebrating a friend’s birth and life;
that distilled white vinegar cleans almont anything;
that aging can suck and be a blessing ~ simultaneously;
those deer just.simply.feasting;
the joy of seeing sheetrock on walls;
how much work we need honor to work toward racial reconciliation;
the relief of a cold front; and
eating a meatball sandwich, while Bloss napped on my right foot.
What NOWS did you experience or witness this week?
