My word for 2018 is focus, which requires paying attention to the moment – the now. So, this year, I’ll be taking note of experiences I may have missed, without focus. Many may seem to be BGO’s (blinding glimpses of the obvious), but hey, I might have missed them.
Here’s this week of NOWS:
lighting that first Advent Wreath candle of the year;
the #grateFULL relief of realizing Tom’s healing;
sharing a piece of Big W’s Tar Heel Pie (with real whipped cream) with two dear gal pals;
trusting my gut, in the world of ‘Finding the Right Doctor for Me’;
worshipping with a larger ranger of my community;
my first halotherapy treatment at Farmacy on Main;
lavender simple syrup;
stopping my car, while a heron crossed the road;
sharing in a Duluth, MN retreat with a friend;
snuggling with Bloss in front of our ‘Now Home’ candlelight fireplace;
swapping stories of Light;
the healing power of women joining forces to retreat together;
remembering The Most Important Thing is The Most Important Thing; and
why Advent is my favorite season of the year.
What NOWS did you experience or witness this week?
Waking up to 3-4 inches of snow on December 9th!
too cool, Phil!
