My word for this year is YET.
Yet helps me choose how I live in the space beween what what was, what is, and what’s not (you guessed it) yet. Living in the yet, with the yet, requires great hope. To fuel that hope, I’m in search of great songs of hope.
Thanks to Robin Kramer for sharing this Song of Hope from Israel “IZ” Kamakawio’ole.
THANKS for sending me a link to YOUR favorite songs of hope at piergazer@gmail.com. So I can share them on Sundays, right here.
Just beautiful!
Thank you, Lisa.

IZ song “Somewhere over the Rainbow” was picked out by my sister to use at her funeral and graveside service. In the last yr of her final battle with Ocular Melanoma she underwent many procedures and liver resection to try to stop or at least slow down the cancer that was spreading. 5 weeks after her liver surgery she flew with another sister and family to Hawaii. Every time I hear or see this video it reminds me of how she was so courageous and strong to the end and always had hope that if her life could not be saved that maybe some of the research and the Vision Pool Foundation she founded could give hope to others at Duke. Thanks for sharing her mission of hope to others.
