Do you ever have times when your Things To Do List feels fuller than usual, but you’re not sure how or where to start? You’ve done your prioritizing. You know what’s most important and why. You know which Thing needs to be done before The Other Thing. Maybe you even rewrite your List, but you just don’t know how or where to start.
I’ve been having one of those times lately. So, I picked up sticks. And thanks to Hurricane Ian, I’ve had plenty of sticks to pick up. Then I picked my favorites of them and settled-in to accomplish something on my Things To Do List – wrap sticks with wire and beads.

Wrapping sticks with wire and beads is always on my List for two reasons. First, I use these wrapped sticks to bind the books I create for my Cheap Therapy customers. And the practice of gathering and wrapping sticks helps me focus. It helps me get out of my head, or at least helps whatever is going on in my head from going down rabbit holes that keep me stuck.
Hey, whatever works, right? If you ever experience this, what’s your equivalent of ‘collecting and wrapping sticks’?
Zentangle is a lovely method of drawing that relieves tension, makes me focus, and leaves me with a piece of art. Bingo!
Ooooo, I can’t wait to try zentangle, Susan! Thanks!
