a week of NOWS ~ #30

My word for 2018 is focus, which requires paying attention to the moment – the now. So, this year, I’ll be taking note of experiences I may have missed, without focus. Many may seem to be BGO’s (blinding glimpses of the obvious), but hey, I might have missed them.

Here’s this week of NOWS:

the comfort of a morning breeze;

that most of the best feelings don’t have words to describe them;

how generous it can be to ask for help;

a perfectly cooked local shrimp;

the Angel City Chorale singing Baba Yetu;

witnessing a swarm of hundreds of fireflies in my yard and over LKW;

the honor of creating a simple piece of art for a very dear couple;

a perfectly ripe peach;

the exquisite simplicity of a bunch of zinnias;

the gratitude I feel while just.watching.Bloss.sleep;

that I really do need to deep-clean the vent of my stove cover more often;

how sailboats  can ‘dance’ with each other; and

that perfect balance of lightly toasted homemade banana bread, topped with peanut butter.

What NOWS did you experience or witness this week?
