162 – 183 of 2012 wows!

My “word” for 2012 is wOw!           wOw! is one of those fabulous words that fits positive, negative and neutral situations.  It’s a word we can use when no other will work.   Over this next year of Sundays, I’m going to share some wOw!moments from the previous week.  By December 31, 2012, I’ll have shared 2012wOw! moments.    I hope you’ll have spotted (and maybe even shared) close to that, too.

Here’s what made me say wOw! this week:
162. scary times with MS;

163. bouncing back from those times;

164. making Cheap Therapy lovenotes;

165. getting a good report at my annual physical;

166. the grilled blue cheese sliders and baked sweet potato fries I fixed after that physical;

167. feeling rushed and crazed and then choosing to feel differently;

168. a phenomenal yin yoga practice;

170. hearing about the Naked Face Project;

171. deciding to join in the NFP;

171. figuring My Rules for the NFP;

172. free car car service for life;

173. being spooked and then breathing;

174. cedar grilled salmon and Mari’s Chinese slaw recipe;

175. receiving a beautiFULL picture of my sister from my brother in law;

176. carrot and ginger soup at Persimmons;

177. getting to watch American Idol with my mom;

178. realizing that a dear pal and I had bought the same cool shoes (at different places, but both on sale!);

179. joyful times at our Episcopal Diocesan Convention;

180. frustrating times at Convention;

181. wishing i’d handled something differently and getting over it;

182. listening to Krista Tippett’s On Being podcast about Happiness on the way home from Convention;

183. getting to see the sunset over LKW as I arrived home;

What’s  made you say wOw! this week?

  1. Having two dates (with two different guys) on the same day was a definite wOw for me…..heck, in all my life I never had two dates in one week! 🙂

    My serious wOw though was seeing many friends at the Episcopal Diocesan Convention and seeing everyone of them smile! And getting a hug from you was just awesome! Seeing your wOw notebook up close and personal was pretty wonderful too!!! 🙂

  2. Adena, Life is INDEED a wOw! 🙂
